Iceland with parents. Winter - €3600/2 person

This program is optimized for people in their late 40th - early 60th● My dream has always been to show my mom Iceland — not just to stop hearing “Why are you going there again?”, but to let her see the northern lights, lava, and glaciers herself.● She’s a simple village woman who’s spent her life working, rarely taking time to rest. This year, I made it happen — and built a journey where anyone can give their parents the same gift of wonder.
● We’ll move slowly, taste tomatoes grown under the polar lights, visit cozy yarn shops, and simply enjoy the island’s calm beauty.● Designed for a children and parents — a heartfelt way to thank those who raised us.

Why choose us

No copy-paste trips

We've run this island many times over, and we keep making it better - the route, the timing, the little stops most tours skip.

Experience

Over 11 trips across Iceland, we've been to basically everywhere worth going - plus places only locals know. Our guides keep digging into the history, geology, and the small stories that make a spot click.

Balance

This isn't a checklist race. Easy pacing is built in - real wow-moments mixed with proper rest, so nobody's wrecked by day three. Even more important when you're travelling with a parent.

Itinerary

Day 0: Fly out from Warsaw

We start in Warsaw. Most of the group flies WizzAir from there. Other routes work too - just talk to us first so we can line up the timing.

    Day 1: Reykjavik

We land, grab the cars, and dive straight into the good stuff - no long transfer on day one. We start with two Reykjavik classics indoors: the Lava Show, where real molten lava pours out a few meters from where you're sitting, and FlyOver Iceland, which sweeps you over the whole island. Then we wander the city at an easy pace (with an optional supermarket run). We save the Sky Lagoon for the evening on purpose - soaking in hot geothermal water in the dark, with a real chance of the northern lights overhead. Hard to beat as a first night. We stay in Reykjavik.

    Day 2: Snaefellsnes peninsula

People call Snaefellsnes 'Iceland in miniature,' and honestly, they're right. Yellow beaches, seal colonies, a glacier, black lava fields, and that lonely Kirkjufell mountain you've seen on every postcard. We loop the peninsula through the day, then drive down to Selfoss for the night - our home base for most of what's left. It's a long, beautiful driving day, and worth every kilometer.

    Day 3: Golden Circle

The classic, and for good reason. We walk the rift between the tectonic plates of Europe and America at Thingvellir, watch Strokkur throw boiling water into the sky, and stand over Gullfoss - the 'golden waterfall' the whole route is named after. Lunch is something special: fresh food inside a greenhouse where tomatoes grow under polar lights, warm and green in the dead of winter. Night in Selfoss.

    Day 4: South coast waterfalls

This is the big waterfall day. We head east and stop at one after another - Seljalandsfoss, the one you can walk behind; hidden Gljufrabui tucked inside its cave; mighty Skogafoss; and quieter Kvernufoss nearby. Then the black-sand drama of Reynisfjara, the cliff views at Dyrholaey, and the canyon at Fjadrargljufur. We might roll past the Diamond Beach and Jokulsarlon lagoon on the way - but we won't rush them today, because we've got real time there tomorrow. Night near Hofn.

Day 5: Stokksnes, Diamond Beach & the road back

We start at Stokksnes - a stretch of black volcanic sand with the Vestrahorn mountains standing behind it. Somehow it still gets left off most tour programs. Unfairly. Then we turn west and take our time: the Diamond Beach, where shards of ancient ice sparkle on black sand, and the Jokulsarlon lagoon, where blue icebergs drift past and seals laze on the shore - no rushing this time. Glacier views along the way (Svinafellsjokull is a stunner). Night back in Selfoss..

Day 6: Ice cave & around Vik

Today we go inside a glacier. The blue glow of ancient ice with daylight coming through it is hard to describe and harder to forget - and we keep it to an easy, accessible cave so it works for everyone. With the relaxed pacing, there's room to add more around here: the DC-3 plane wreck out on the black sand, and other spots in the area, weather and mood permitting. Night in Selfoss.

Day 7: Your last full day, your call

A full, unhurried day - the flight home isn't until around 1am, so all of the day is still ours. This is where the group usually spreads out: we run several cars, so people can split up and spend the day however they like. Feel like a soak? The Blue Lagoon is the famous choice (tickets not included, optional), as well as other free & paid geothermal baths for every budget. There's plenty else on the table too: the wild Reykjanes peninsula, one more slow wander through Reykjavik, the Istex wool factory north of the city if anyone's keen, or any of the stops we've been saving all week - the geothermal bakery at Laugarvatn where bread bakes right in the hot ground, the little farm doing proper Icelandic ice cream, the Reykjadalur hot river, and anything we skipped earlier to keep the pace gentle. Late that night we drive to the airport and fly out around 1am, landing back in Warsaw around 6am on the 20th. Return to other cities can be arranged.
